Our Ministries
Sunday Morning Worship Service (10:00 - 11:30 AM)
We meet on Sunday morning for corporate worship. Our love for God is demonstrated through singing, praying, giving, and listening to God’s Word. Creche is provided for infants and toddlers, and Children's Church (Sunday School) runs concurrently with the morning message.
Sunday Evening Bible Study & Prayer Meeting (6:00 - 7:30 PM)
Sunday evenings offer something for everyone in the family. Children meet in age-appropriate clubs that help them build character through music, fun activities, and Bible lessons. 10 to 12 year-olds and Teens both have their own practical-to-life Bible Study groups. At the same time, the adults participate in ten-week topical or Bible book studies led by our elders on a rotating schedule for each term. After the Bible Study, adults share in a time of Prayer or Communion (third Sunday of each month). Creche is provided for infants and toddlers.
During the school holidays, we enjoy a variety of family-oriented activities, such as a "fellowship lunch" followed by an afternoon testimony & praise service, or "feed & seed" home gatherings of 3-4 families getting to know each other better over a shared dinner.
Tuesday Evening Elective (7:00 - 8:00 PM)
For each school term, we offer a 10-week elective for further Christian and educational growth. These studies vary greatly and range from a Ladies' Bible Study to Bible Survey classes; Marriage & Parenting to Biblical Principles for Finances; and Evangelism to Church History. Classes are not held during school holiday, making room for family activities and special church events like our annual Holiday Club or Church Family Camp.
Saturday Visitation (10:30 AM - Noon)
Members of all ages are welcome to join up with our door-to-door community visitation team. Our desire is to make connections with our neighbours, to engage them in conversations about spiritual matters (especially the Gospel), and to invite them to visit our services.
Care Groups (bi-weekly)
Small groups meet in homes to provide an opportunity for closer fellowship. Care Groups discuss and apply the Bible, pray, and encourage one another in a less formal setting where many close friendships are forged.
Young Adult & Teen Groups (bi-weekly)
Our younger adults and high schoolers also meet to discuss practical application of Biblical principles to their lives, to pray for each other, and to enjoy each other's company in general.
FBC Choir (Sundays, 4:30 - 5:45 PM)
The choir is open to regular attenders in their teens through all ages of adults, who have some musical ability and feel that God would have them use it to minister to our church family - and others on special occasions - by joining together to sing. If interested, please contact Brian Eggert.
